The Somerset Academy gymnasium, cafeteria and library pavilion is a project on the campus of Somerset Academy, a K-12 charter school in Pembroke Pines, Fla. The project was divided into two distinct phases: the cafeteria/library pavilion and the gymnasium. The cafeteria/library pavilion was added to provide the growing high school with its own cafeteria and media center. The media center, situated on the second floor of the facility, includes offices, reading rooms and stack area for books. The ground floor includes the lunchroom and food-prep area. The pavilion is opposite the main administration building.

The final phase of the project was the construction of a gymnasium in the space between the new cafeteria/library and an existing classroom building. The space, formerly an outdoor play area, provided the area needed to build the gymnasium and ancillary functions, such as the weightroom, training facilities and locker rooms. The resulting space between the new gymnasium and the existing classroom building to the west became an enclosed courtyard.
