SLAM! Academy II is a multilevel middle/high public charter school in Miami’s historic Little Havana neighborhood, near the Miami Marlins Ballpark. SLAM! II is the second phase of a larger, urban campus designed to serve more than 2,000 students. The project includes a pedestrian bridge on the seventh floor that connects the building to the original SLAM! Academy across the street.

SLAM II, the bridge and the original facility to the north create a gateway from the east toward the Marlins Ballpark neighborhood to the west.

Together, the two related facilities establish a formal urban edge along the main avenue, which is animated by active programs along the ground level such as cafeterias, classroom and administrative functions.

The building culminates on the sixth level with a large indoor gymnasium with panoramic views, providing SLAM II a powerful connectivity to the Little Havana neighborhood and the expansive city beyond.
