This year marks a special occasion at Steffian Bradley Architects, as a year-long anniversary celebration is set to commemorate eight decades of business in the Greater Boston region.
For more than 80 years, Steffian Bradley Architects has been creating environments that enhance people’s lives across the globe. Specializing in healthcare, education, residential, senior living, corporate/commercial, and urban design, SBA has earned a reputation for excellence throughout its history.
Since 1932, when Edwin “Ted” Steffian first opened the doors to his one-man studio in downtown Boston, SBA has grown into an acclaimed international architectural firm with offices in Boston and Enfield, Conn., London, Guangzhou, and its newest location in Vancouver, Canada. With several projects currently underway around the globe, SBA is sharing its Boston design roots with the world.
“Over the years, Steffian Bradley Architects has stuck to the core of its mission: To create environments that enhance people’s lives,” said SBA Chairman Peter Steffian. “SBA has weathered some tumultuous times in our industry, but we couldn’t have gotten this far without the talent and dedication of our staff.”
The 80th anniversary is considered to be the “oak” anniversary. The oak tree, known for its strength, endurance, and beauty, is symbolic of SBA’s history and attaining its most recent milestone.
