DRA Architects Announces Two New Hires

Waltham, MA (January 2018) — DRA Architects, 95-year old architecture, planning and interior design firm, and recognized leader in educational design in New England, is pleased to announce two new hires.

Bonnie Peters, RA, LEED AP BD+C, joins the firm’s Waltham, MA studio as a Project Architect.  She has worked with a diverse range of academic clients over the last 20 years in both the public and private sector.  Her experience in campus master planning through construction administration will be of great value to DRA’s educational clients. She comes to DRA with a depth of experience in sustainability and green design, having guided several projects through the LEED and MA CHPS certification process. Specializing also in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Bonnie will be a valuable asset to the studio’s design and production efforts.

DRA also continues to expand its educational planning practice by welcoming John Tindall-Gibson, PhD to its South Windsor, Connecticut studio.  John will draw from his more than 30 years of experience as an educator in his new role as a Learning Environment Planner. His professional history includes serving as Superintendent, Principal, and teacher.  John’s depth of experience, coupled with his interest in understanding the impact of building design on learning, make him a great addition to DRA’s well-established educational planning team.
