BSA LifeStructures, an architecture and engineering firm specializing in healthcare, higher education and research, has hired Elaine Lockwood Bean as Senior Director of the Learning Market in its Chicago office. A licensed architect, she brings more than 20 years of experience in the design and construction industry.
In her new role, Elaine will balance the management of BSA LifeStructures’ design process with business development pursuits. This role will enable her to provide project teams with vision and oversight that delivers value-based design for clients. Specifically, Elaine will lead project teams that design spaces that spark innovation and collaboration where learning takes place.Â
Elaine earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley and Masters of Art in architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
