BKP Architects, based in Philadelphia, has announced that Principal Caitlin A. Daley, has assumed majority firm ownership and has become president of the firm. Founding partners Darrell Kratzer and Joseph Powell will continue in firm leadership alongside Daley.
The change transitions BKP to a woman-owned business, for which certification is pending.
Daley has been a BKP partner and principal since 2020, leading the firm’s architecture and planning work. Her management includes design and oversight of projects for Gallaudet University, Bryn Mawr College, and the University of Pennsylvania.
“I’m excited to take the helm and continue the values and vision that have always guided the firm,” said Daley. “Our practice and approach to architecture will not change.”
Since joining BKP in 2010, Daley has demonstrated proficiency in all phases of project development. As an integral part of BKP operations, she has managed staffing, participated in business development pursuits, and contributed to strategic planning.
Daley holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the Pennsylvania State University and NCARB certification.
