Moody Nolan Celebrates 30 Years of Education Design

This year also designates five years in Washington, D.C.

This fall, Moody•Nolan celebrates 30 years of success, as well as its five-year presence in the Washington, D.C. area and recent move downtown.

What began in 1982 with a staff of two in Columbus, Ohio, has grown into the largest African American-owned and -managed design firm in the country, with more than 160 employees and with offices nationwide. 

Moody•Nolan’s work within the DC area include projects at The District of Columbia Public Schools Paul Laurence Dunbar Senior High School, University of the District of Columbia David A. Clark School of Law, Kaiser Permanente and the Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission College Park Airport Operations Building. In addition, Moody•Nolan has completed other projects for DC Public Schools and the District of Columbia Public Library.
