The University of Dayton has a new dining facility that rivals any restaurant in town. Before the renovation, the space was designed as an "all-you-care-to-eat" residence hall-style cafeteria. The school sought input from students, and sushi, made-to-order dishes and fresh ingredients all were on their menu wish list.

As a result, the renovated facility offers two "restaurants." One contains a Mongolian grill, sushi station and international-style fare. The other provides fresh-baked bread for sandwiches, soups and made-to-order salads. Bakery-style desserts are plentiful as well.

LED color-changing lights, live-edge tables and high-back booths lend themselves to an atmosphere that evokes trendy, upscale eateries. Late hours support student group work in a space that is inviting and comfortable. Students now are flocking to a space that once had an institutional feeling, and now is a place they can enjoy and feeling like they are dining out.
