An activity hub at the center of campus, the new $12.7 million Trine University Center offers 73,454 square feet of amenities in a sleek package of curved architecture, window walls, and black and gray marble floors. Students and the public enjoy indoor and outdoor gourmet dining, plus educational and arts programming in the center’s 320-seat Fabiani Theatre. A presidential dining area and catering office enhance the state-of-the-art dining facilities.
A spacious new library provides even greater resources for student success, and the Center for Online Resources keeps students in step with technology advances in its global workplace, Center for Digital Excellence, and multipurpose and digital group training spaces.
The University Center has a strong design concept, centered on the main atrium space. The building is situated between the residential and academic sides of campus, and takes advantage of the student traffic between these two campus centers. The main atrium forms a large “S” shape. All amenities for the building, including the cafeteria, fitness area, bookstore, theater and library, are accessed from this main mall space.
