Tri Star Career Compact

Tri Star Career Compact unites students from nine school districts in a state-of-the-art environment for career-technical education. The design draws heavily from the expertise of local business owners to create real-world learning environments. Custom-designed interiors reflect the specific needs of a broad range of local career opportunities—from agriculture, precision machining and welding to robotics, interactive media and cyber security.
To help Tri Star welcome students, the interior design gives the facility a dynamic new identity. The school has extensive daylighting and contemporary finishes, elements missing in many local career technical schools. Custom wall graphics, flooring patterns and digital displays support Tri Star’s branding and messaging.
The building layout and use of glass provide views into robotics and other popular programs, which offer students a glimpse of the possibilities that lie ahead.
The new building and design have set Tri Star on a new path. Local businesses donated more than $2 million for enhanced facilities and equipment, and enrollment is up by 30% since the school opened in August 2019.
