St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School Library & Media Center

The newly redesigned and renovated St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School library, media and technology center is reflective of modern college libraries and aims to expose St. John’s students to the various uses of media and technology for college-level research.
The library is a state-of-the-art learning hub. It includes a video and TV production MAC lab, flex classrooms, college preparatory scientific research center, a conference room, media presentation space with digital archiving and 3D printing capabilities. It is a completely wireless space, enabling students to move freely while staying connected to WiFi. With an abundance of new and improved library resources, students are able to work collaboratively, pursue academic interests, and learn how to conduct college-level research projects.
The new library offers a flexible and educational collaborative learning environment. The overall interior design incorporates both modern and traditional materials and patterns in an effort to create a dynamic, yet comfortable and approachable space. Since its opening, the library has become a favorite destination for students and faculty.
