Santa Rosa High School, Gymnasium and Fine Arts Center
Santa Rosa, New Mexico
Completed in August 2003, the Santa Rosa Gymnasium and Fine Arts Center is a focal point of activity in Santa Rosa, N.M. As in most rural areas, the school facilities are used for community activities, as well as for educational and athletic purposes, and are used by the entire community.
The architect designed the Gymnasium and Fine Arts Center for Santa Rosa Consolidated Schools and saw the four-year project come to life this fall when students enthusiastically put the facilities to use. The gymnasium has 1,885 seats, as well as dressing and locker rooms for football and basketball. The fine-arts center is used for band, chorus and art.
