Nova Southeastern University, Horvitz Administration Complex – Administrative Offices

When ACAI was charged with delivering the new Administrative Offices for Nova Southeastern University (NSU), we were elated. The challenge was designing this project in a complex phasing scheme as part of the complete makeover of NSU’s Horvitz Administration Complex while keeping the day-to-day operations intact and working around existing color schemes which need to be complementary to stay within budget.
The assignment included multiple departmental moves, internal enabling projects, and a comprehensive upgrade to all systems. The scope included a new human resources department; an enhanced “one stop shop” for students; upsized lobby and security; a splendid “behind the scenes” makeover of the back of house bullpens; executive suite entrances; ancillary spaces; a lounge; trust board room; and the building security access.
