TC Architects designed The NEOMED Education and Wellness (NEW) Center on Northeast Ohio Medical University’s campus.
The focal point of the facility is a large atrium that functions as a gathering area where students, patients and the community can interact. It also provides a venue for educational, after-hours and weekend community events.
The NEW Center is the nucleus of campus and student life. It brings an unprecedented integration of wellness, healthcare, educational experiences, and community interaction to the university, Rootstown and the surrounding areas.
The three-story facility houses:
•Diagnostic and laboratory areas
•Urgent care
•Medical offices
•Physical therapy
•A medically based fitness center
•Food-service venues
•A 350-seat lecture hall
•A conference center
•STEM+M
