The district partnered with the architect as its independent owner’s representative for educational planning and cost-management consultation to develop a long-range plan consolidating facilities and gain the operating efficiencies of a single site.

Elementary facilities are joined efficiently to various activity areas, music, performance and food-service areas serving pre-K to 12 needs while welcoming a variety of community-use options. These are open to separate, secure operation while conveniently adjoining high, middle and elementary school areas.

Separate academic, resource and social areas are provided for each grade grouping. New facilities emphasize a variety of learning environments conducive to educational delivery in class, small group and individual settings, all with flexible technology access.

Independent cost management delivered superior quality materials and energy efficiency while saving taxpayers nearly 20 percent compared with regional averages of traditional architect and construction management-driven approaches.

The unique approach for this project found success with the districts’ group of rural communities, as their voters embraced a facilities tax-management plan to deliver a "class A" result in education facilities.
