Noelker and Hull provided architectural and interior design services for the replacement of Easton Moton and Dobson Elementary Schools. The new facility accommodates 1,167 students in grades pre-kindergarten through five, and includes about 3,000 square feet of community-use space. A key element of this project was to maintain in the new design the heritage of the educators for whom the original buildings are named. The project was designed with a geothermal wellfield and achieved LEED v4 BD+C Gold Certification. Project delivery was construction management at risk.
Easton incorporates two school populations formerly on the school site: the Dobson School, for pre-K through first grade, and the Moton School, for grades two through five.
The cafeteria features two sections—one for younger students and one for older. Easton also has an expanded health suite with its own entrance to provide community health services.
