Calvin University School of Business
Grand Rapids, Michigan
With an increase in enrollment in its business department, Calvin University sought to add onto its existing DeVos Communication Center to create a new School of Business. The announcement of a $22.25 million anonymous gift to launch the school and create innovative academic programs commenced the design of the building.
This state-of-the-art facility will focus on student spaces, classrooms, breakout rooms, and shared spaces that are more conducive to collaborative learning and demonstrate a commitment to the latest innovations in business. These spaces will provide a flexible, creative, and welcoming environment to foster students in their journey to become excellent, engaged, and faithful leaders of business. Additionally, this new space will enable the program to continue fostering connections with other institution programs along with the broader campus and community. Situated near a high-traffic area, the School of Business will create a statement for the campus that is connected to the Calvin identity and brand.
