The Center for Technology, Training and Incubation (CTTI) consists of three major components: the Pomona Technology Center, NASA/JPL Commercialization Program, and the College of the Extended University (CEU). Situated at the southern edge of the university, CTTI is the gateway to the campus and is a logical location for an institution whose mission is to straddle the boundary between “town and gown.”

A quadrangle concept emerged, accommodating the need for multiple identities: one for the complex and one for the individual components. An urban plaza extends along the street frontage, providing outdoor cafe seating and accommodating much-needed pedestrian linkages between the CTTI and the rest of the campus. The quadrangle also includes an internal garden courtyard.

The quadrangle is defined by the main building, which houses the CEU building; a two-story building housing the CACT and the NASA/JPL Business Incubator programs; and Pomona Technology Center building.
