The Graham building, an addition to the popular Sojka Pavilion, asserts the complementary architecture of the original building’s façade and provides a new “wow” moment at the edge of the campus athletic and recreation zone. This addition is home to an outstanding Wrestling Training Center. Supporting a 40-man squad, the facility offers generous practice space, a fitness center with program-specific cardio and strength equipment, and student-focused hydration and post-weigh-in areas. Locker rooms and coaches’ offices are also featured. A multifunctional space adjacent to the Sojka Concourse is provided for hospitality and recruiting activities.
A student Health and Wellness center, featured on the ground floor, provides a health clinic, a wellness center, and counseling services, with sound-attenuation features to acoustically separate its program from the athletics program above.
Site design for the building includes new pedestrian walkways and a new plaza. The facility is on track to receive LEED Silver certification.
