Since 2012 the architect has provided ongoing services for Prospect Schools, a charter management organization that was founded in Brooklyn to provide a new educational model for a diverse urban community. Three of these schools, BPCS Windsor Terrace (middle and high school), BPCS 80 Willoughby (elementary school), and BPCS 1100 Fulton (middle school), exemplify the commitment to designing cost-effective, yet vibrant spaces. Although each location deserved its own design, the approach was to develop a consistent aesthetic that reflected the charter organization’s identity.
