Asbury University, Andrew S. Miller Center for Communication Arts
Wilmore, Kentucky
Like a play moves to its next act or a film begins another scene, Asbury University’s School of Communication Arts has embraced a new era. With its disciplines previously spread across the Wilmore, Ky., campus, the new Andrew S. Miller Center for Communication Arts offers a facility like no other, with a diverse and interconnected range of opportunities for students to develop communication, journalism, media and theater skills in one location.
Cross-collaboration, shared resources and an opportunity for new interactions within a state-of-the-art industry-standard facility were at the heart of the design. It has a fully resourced news bureau, a campus radio station and television production interspersed with recording studios adjacent to a black-box theater. The chance for further development of design styles, creativity and coordination is at the root of Asbury’s core values. With a deep commitment to academic excellence and spiritual vitality, the university serves the community and world with its graduates.
Situated on a campus in the heart of the bluegrass, this facility is poised to help the university produce leaders serving in every facet of the communications industry.
