The renovation of the Snyder High School cafeteria into the Media Arts High Tech Program (MAHTP) facility was developed to be state-of-the-art. The Media Arts Center features two TV studios, an audio recording studio, an Internet radio broadcast station and two computer labs. From this facility, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of producing and broadcasting TV programs and Internet netcast productions. In addition, they will learn the fundamentals of recording and producing multitrack music, and audio “sweetening” for short- and long-form video productions. From this room, students will develop on-air broadcast techniques. A multimedia lab uses high-end computers and digital imaging.

Each teaching center features digital teaching/presentation tools and media-production equipment, and will support collaborative work.
