Recladding the exterior walls with a distinctive grey and yellow rain screen updated the deteriorated masonry facades and hinted at the design features of the new school: The vibrant yellow accents reflect graphics of the nearby subway. A skylighted wood entry stair has unique perforated metal risers and a dynamic colored tile pattern.
