The addition provides ample glass, promoting high visibility to visitors, while also enabling branded graphics to be seen. The fitness center encompasses more than 6,000 square feet and features 20 weight training racks, a cardio equipment mezzanine and an open functional fitness space. Of equal importance was the need to incorporate educational and instructional features in the space, as one of its primary uses is for physical education.
Additional amenities include the student-operated Spirit Store, a new concessions area and additional locker room space that has immediate access to outdoor athletic fields.
