Students found the previous cafe cold and uninviting, with a lack of attractive spaces to enjoy food or study. The renovated rooms now are warm and comfortable.

Wood partitions, flooring and trusses were added during the renovation. These elements provide warmth and enhance the collegiate imagery of Moravian’s campus. New windows and awnings also were installed. Together, the abundant natural light as well as the eye-catching light fixtures vitalize the features of the room.

The adjacent outdoor courtyard was refurbished in order to maximize the use of space. New landscaping, pavers and outdoor furnishings highlight the new stone fire pit. The orange and black accents of the furniture add depth to the previously plain courtyard.
