A new “front door” equipped with escalators offers a welcoming and convenient complex entry.

Along with an improved seating arrangement, (including a selection of upgrades), air conditioning, lighting and sound augmentation, the newly barrier-free facility is state-of-the-art and the ultimate fan experience.

The Crisler Center is registered with the United States Green Building Council and is targeted for LEED silver certification. Materials and systems were selected in accordance with the LEED scoring system.

An additional university requirement was to exceed ASHRAE energy consumption standards by 30 percent. Natural lighting, low-VOC materials, sustainable wood products, and intelligent mechanical and electrical systems work together successfully to achieve these goals.
