The private courtyard is reserved for residents, but the public courtyard is embellished with a carefully selected art piece. Retail services also are available. Campus traffic is in fact guided through this courtyard.

The project also incorporates updated technical advances such as a ubiquitous Wi-Fi environment and AT&T U-verse integration, and the BACnet Open platform systems monitoring software; both help to place this facility squarely in the 21st century. Other learning opportunities are facilitated in a theater/seminar room, a teaching kitchen, two multipurpose rooms, a computer lab and study spaces throughout the facility.
