A design committee of teachers, administrators and residents from all four communities met to discuss their goals and priorities for the design of the new schools. Many educational and community-use features have been incorporated into the design. The grade levels are broken down into smaller “houses” consisting of two grade levels each. The gymnasium, stage and dining room are situated so they can be used by the community after hours while the academic portion of the building is secured.
