MacDonald Elementary School features a traditional bell-tower design. This vertical element provides a strong visual indicator of the building’s main entrance and administrative areas. The media center and computer labs are the central hub components of this plan, and are flanked by classroom wings.

This school design was adopted by the Anchor Bay School District as ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONCOST PER SQ FT$106.92FEATURED IN2002 Educational InteriorsINTERIOR CATEGORYLibraries/Media Centers elementary school prototype design.
