-On a smaller scale better suited to younger, smaller students.

-To support an up-to-date middle school philosophy with increased numbers of group gathering areas and flexible team-learning areas.

The school was designed to enhance a student-centered curriculum and six interdisciplinary team houses of 150 students, along with a floating house of 150 students. The houses are organized in duplexes that wrap around team learning areas. The floating house concept accommodates increasing enrollment. The spatial arrangement creates opportunities for student interaction, tutorial enrichment and passive supervision in group areas.
