The architect provided architectural and interior design services for the 30,000-square-foot Graduate School. Amenities include a stairway, a computer laboratory, a “trading floor/information center,” conference rooms and classrooms.

The objective was to provide an upscale environment for graduate-level classes and lectures. The spiral staircase leads students from the fourth-floor lobby to additional lounge space on the fifth floor. A skylight above the internal staircase provides natural lighting to the information resource center and lobby areas below.

The lobby area also incorporates a high-tech information center kiosk, which includes a ticker bar for stock-market activities. The classrooms are equipped with built-in computer stations for each student, electronically controlled screens, specialty lighting and acoustical enhancements.
