The new Career Management Center and Executive Educational building at Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management serves two separate departments, each occupying a wing joined by a central shared space.
The first department in this building is different than typical graduate university programs—the classrooms and breakout rooms were FEATURED IN2000 Architectural PortfolioSUB CATEGORYSpecialized with executive-quality finishes and comfort that suits long hours of class time.
The other department of the building, the Career Management Center, serves the typical graduate-school population. Its purpose is to assist with research, recruitment and career placement. This area consists of small private spaces for corporate recruiters to interview students; a computer lab for students to research employers; and classrooms to teach students professional business skills. The two departments are joined in the center by areas designed for executive and networking events. The second floor was designed to serve all building users with teleconferencing rooms and lounge space.
