live on the opposite side of the highway. The solution came in the form of a glass-and-steel pedestrian bridge. This bridge allows students to cross the roadway safely.
Designed for 575 students, this school is divided into three separate classroom wings. This allows students to flow into specialty resource rooms, such as the media center and the music suite. The flow pattern leads students into the large cafetorium and gymnasium for large-volume gatherings.
Because the previous elementary school had been damaged by flooding, this new school was designed to be a colorful, fun and reassuring place to learn. The open, airy and inviting entrance welcomes students. Bright colors and sturdy brick complete the facade and this facility’s resource rooms.
