The expanded O.A. Grant Humanities Building is the epitome of a state-of-the-art, multipurpose facility.
With a vision of transforming the Humanities Building into a modern, technology-forward, ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONCOST PER SQ FT$238.00FEATURED IN2016 Architectural Portfolio higher education learning environment, designers created a space for students who need the flexibility to work after hours or in between classes. The informal work areas spread throughout the building maximize the convenience and overall efficiency of the learning community. The added space includes a Media Convergence Lab, a modern broadcasting news studio that provides students with unmatched professional experience.
The building has a high-efficiency HVAC System and DDC Control System. The building management system connects the HVAC, lighting security and protection systems, giving them the ability to communicate on one platform to deliver the information all in one place. This enables the occupants to make more energy-efficient decisions and enhances comfort, safety and productivity.
