The adjoining 12,000-square-foot Parish Center includes specialty classrooms, meeting rooms and support spaces.
The spacious lobby promotes social interaction and acts as a transitional space to the more intimate settings of the classrooms that lie beyond a second set of security doors. Warm tones of reclaimed wood from the old gymnasium are used throughout the lobby, and natural light from the two-story glass entrance connects students and visitors with the outdoors while invoking a sense of belonging and comfort.
The school, which is LEED Silver certified, features sustainable design elements including reduced energy consumption, large windows for increased daylighting, green power, and recycled materials.
