Waubonsee Community College, Erickson Hall Renovation and Fieldhouse Expansion

When Waubonsee Community College opened the doors of its renovated Erickson Hall and Field House, it marked the completion of the school’s 2020 College Master Plan.

The complex offers a seamless, first-class facility that will make it easier for multiple teams to practice and also serves as a recruiting tool.
The new Erickson Hall entry gives the Sugar Grove athletic campus a prominent identity. The facility provides professional-level sporting facilities as well as casual informal meeting/learning spaces in the double-height, daylighted public atrium.
The new fieldhouse contains two indoor hard surface courts, one artificial turf court and a 170-meter, three-lane indoor suspended running track that circles the upper perimeter of the building. The facility now offers a dance studio, an athletic team training room and a strength and conditioning center. The competition gymnasium, fitness center and locker rooms also underwent renovation.
