Each hall features community spaces on the first floor with large expanses of glass that bring the indoor and outdoor environments together with light, views and activity. With architectural commonalities such as pitched roofs, bay windows and traditional detailing, the Western halls nod to the traditional culture of the Miami University campus, while also reflecting contemporary college life.

Western was the first design-build higher education project in Ohio. It was designed to achieve LEED Silver certification, which reflects the university’s commitment to the environment and the future of its students.
