This three-story, LEED Silver-certified facility combines physical and mental health services and the Safety, Environment and Education Center into a single facility capable of providing outpatient health services and information for the entire University of Tennessee (UT) community.

In order to facilitate sustainable sun shading and use of natural light, smaller punched windows are used for the south and west elevations, and the amount of glazing on the north and east elevations is more expansive.
The main level is primarily a medical-services floor and includes self-check-in and waiting areas, a 10-physician/nurse suite that includes 30 student exam rooms, urgent care services, an x-ray and laboratory services suite, an allergy clinic, a physical therapy/rehabilitation services suite and a pharmacy.
The second floor is primarily a mental health center that offers psychological and psychiatric counseling services. It also houses a center for health education and wellness, including substance abuse and relationship counseling.
