The basement had been used sparingly by students because of its lack of common area, unpleasant interior appearance, and less than ideal study space.
Aarris Atepa Architects took this as an opportunity to bring life into the space. First, it opened up the layout, created a comfortable study space and incorporated easy-to-clean floors. In addition, the renovation introduced usable spaces such as a gym, functional bathrooms and an enlarged laundry room.
