The new law school anchors the growing campus towards the heart of downtown and serves as an iconic building clad in traditional materials of brick and stone. The building houses a two-story courtroom with student life spaces on the third floor and a three-level library, classrooms, admissions, and a dean’s suite which are all interconnected by a linear three-story “spine” of faculty offices and common spaces. A legal clinic for community outreach of legal services is housed on the first floor and is integrated yet independent from core program spaces. Student lifestyle spaces are activated throughout the facility to foster interaction between students, faculty and staff further enhancing the benefit of this learning environment.
