The nine-acre site is shared with the adjacent recreation center, enabling shared use of amenities, creating a hub of educational and recreational activity for the whole community.

Designed with a certification goal of LEED silver, the sustainable design elements include daylight harvesting, occupation sensors, 21 classrooms with large windows and extended learning areas, and a curtainwall in the main entry tower to fill the building with natural light.

The school also has separate parent and bus dropoff areas, a media center with reading room, gymnasium with locker rooms, an art room, music room, cafeteria, and computer and science labs.
