The building was conceived in two parts: a dining hall anchoring dining operations in the east campus— replacing three undersized and outdated dining locations; and a student-services presence uniting six scattered academic advising programs into a single facility.
Boston University developed a strategy to aggregate student services under one roof to offer its undergraduate students an easily accessible and comprehensive environment.
Simultaneously, this building hosts a prime campus dining venue with extended service hours enabling students to maximize their time in the building—studying, planning, working, socializing and forming lifelong friendships.
This LEED-certified gold building earned a four-star Certified Green Restaurant rating from the Green Restaurant Association; it’s the only university in the country with that distinction.
