The main lab space includes a writable wall and projection screens at the front of the room, and a stock market wall display consisting of four flat-panel displays capable of showing individual or combined data streams. Perforated metal wall panels transition to a floating ceiling cloud within the exposed structure to increase the sense of spaciousness. The student stations are custom-built, configured for four students each. The back row of stations is designed at stool height, providing a choice of seating and excellent sightlines to all displays. Two breakout spaces with sliding glass doors flank the lab.
This glass-walled environment creates intimate collaboration space and an impactful view from the adjacent lobby.
