The newly renovated area brings services that once were spread across Pennsylvania State University’s Worthington Scranton Campus COST PER SQ FT$142.85FEATURED IN2013 Educational InteriorsINTERIOR CATEGORYStudent Centers/Service Areas one central location. The campus’ financial-aid office, veterans’ affairs, health and wellness center, counseling services, a learning center, peer tutoring areas, a mini-computer lab, career services, leadership/personal-development services and a conference room no longer are separated by physical boundaries. The new space is bright, open and flexible—drawing students in and fostering collaboration. The interior environment sends the message to students that the focus is on them and their success.
The David and Ann Hawk Student Success Center has increased retention and supported academic and personal success for PSU Worthington’s undergraduate student body. But more important, it has empowered students by engaging them in a holistic life approach, promoting civic responsibility and enhancing their life foundation.
