The architect has experience at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus dating back more than 15 years. The primary built examples of its influence are the three quadrangles surrounding the central Building 500, connected by a streetscaped sculptural promenade along 17th Place.

Through the composition of plants, topography, walkways, lighting, furnishings and the intentional manipulation of shadows, light, colors and textures, the overall place-making attributes of the quad enhance the users’ environmental awareness within this memorable space.

The Educational Quadrangle establishes the physical framework for all future buildings to be sited around the quadrangle. The design includes innovative and flexible exterior spaces for facilitating experiential learning in the health-sciences disciplines—an integral part of the campus planning and site design.

The Healing Quadrangle includes informal strolling paths and quiet areas for study. From gently undulating landforms to a lacey, veiled tree canopy, the Healing Quadrangle is a place designed for comfort, discovery and beauty.
