Ware County High School, Career, Technology, Agriculture and Education (CTAE) Addition

The board directive was to design an environment reflecting the high level of professionalism and technical knowledge required for successful employment in today’s marketplace and to provide welcoming facility access for business partnerships and the general public.

A gently curved exterior facade was created in contrast to the original rectilinear spoke design, creating a special feel from the existing environment. Entering the CTAE addition, one is greeted with a grand rotunda lobby with clerestory windows and a concierge desk staffed by students. The rotunda is the heart of the new wing from which all instructional and administration spaces are organized.

The classrooms and labs are designed with large windows, giving an abundance of natural light and interior storefronts that provide views into the "corporate corridor."

Culinary arts and marketing flank the entrance with the Gator Bistro and School Store, providing a wonderful place for business partnerships and the general public to enjoy a shopping spree and tasteful delights prepared by the students.
