The facility sits at the main entrance and is a gateway to the college campus. The curved front wall takes its cue from the adjoining traffic roundabout, and gives the building a strong presence and transparency to the local community. The unique V shape of the building allows for courtyard access between the two wings with covered outdoor walkways. Faculty offices overlook the courtyard, which provides a contemplative, landscaped area for students and faculty.

Construction is steel frame with masonry exterior walls on metal stud support. The roof is a single-ply TPO membrane. The mechanical system consists of VAV terminal units with air handlers supplied by air-cooled chillers and natural gas boilers.
