Additional classrooms and reconfigured space support the collaborative curriculum.
Remodeling two interior courtyards into a student union has eliminated maze-like corridors and created a strong, student-focused organizational element. Adjacent spaces have been renovated to support student-service needs including a career center, guidance, writing center, bursar, activities office, school store, student government, coffee shop, library and a student art gallery. The student union is wide enough for students to meet in both small and large groups—for career fairs, dances or special events.
Upgraded finishes in the corridors, cafeteria and gym spaces have created a less institutional feel, improved wayfinding and greatly reduced maintenance costs.
