Situating the library/media center, performing arts and gymnasium at the front of the campus allows for convenient joint usage by students, faculty and the public.

The bright, two-story library/media center features warm wood tones, double-volume ceilings and inspirational graphics. The primary objectives achieved in the library/media center:

•Recessed, flexible spaces to accommodate independent and group study.

•A dedicated second floor for student resource services.

•Ample use of the abundant desert daylight through clerestory windows.

•Electrical lighting that is 25 percent more efficient than Title 24 baselines.

Technology, in the form of wireless networking, video projection and state-of-the-art lecture facilities, addresses the district’s desire to provide students with the most relevant tools for success.
