The design for a new 84,000-square-foot student center at Curry College has connected the academic and residential aspects of the college and now serves as a hub of activity for the entire campus community. The program includes a campus life suite that houses residence life, student activities, student center operations and staff, student government, club offices and meeting areas. Dining options include a dining marketplace with a restaurant-style servery, informal and late-night food service, a cafe with a coffeehouse atmosphere and a sports cafe with flatscreen televisions.
Athletic facilities include a gymnasium and fitness center; general and athletic locker rooms; offices; and a lobby with display areas for athletic memorabilia. Other spaces include the campus bookstore; mailroom; student lounges; a game room; quiet study areas; a chapel; and a multipurpose, amphitheater-style outdoor gathering space.
